How To Use Probe Scanner Astroneer

The Historical Probes are office of the Wanderer adventure, added in the Wanderer Update. The probes are replicas of real-world probes, such as the Hubble Space Telescope or the Sputnik Satellite. To activate the probes, a Probe Scanner is required and will reward the player with a dissimilar palette for each probe.

Each of the probes emit 2 streams of audio back-to-back on loop after they have been activated; a spectrogram image, and a message written in Morse code. The decoded spectrogram as well as the Morse code message for each probe are included below.

Kepler Infinite Telescope [ ]

Mariner 10 was launched on November 3, 1973, with the mission to identify and measure Mercury'south environment, atmosphere, surface, and torso characteristics and to make similar investigations of Venus along the way. It was the commencement space probe to use the gravitational slingshot maneuver, using Venus'southward gravity to alter its trajectory towards Mercury. It was abandoned when it ran out of maneuvering fuel and remains in orbit somewhere around the sun.

Trivia [ ]

The Historical Probes were originally added during the Alpha phase of the game, notwithstanding, their purpose changed with the launch of Patch 1.0. Near served no purpose and then, with the Hubble Space Telescope containing Dynamite, and containing a puzzle.
